Hiring Process
After completing the application, our staff will review the information you have sent and begin checking references. All applicants are required to submit a letter of recommendation from their pastor or youth leader. Hiring decision will be announced by the end of March.

Dates
Junior staff should arrive at 2:00pm on the first day of the session they are schedule to work. the dates for Summer camp weeks are as follows.
· Session 1 June 17 - 22
· Session 2 June 24 - 29
· Session 3 July 1 - 6
· Session 4 July 8 - 13
· Session 5 July 15 - 20
· Session 6 July 22 - 27
· Session 7 July 29 - Aug. 3
· Session 8 Aug. 5 - 10
· Session 9 Aug. 12 – 17
Salary
Salaries for Junior staff are $100 are week and $150 for graduating seniors. In addition to their regular salary, they receive housing and meals. Normal taxes will be deducted from all staff member's salary. Transportation to and from camp is the staff member's responsibility.
Summer Positions available
Counselor in Training (CIT)
CIT’s stay in camper cabins and help supervise the campers. They will be with either a single senior staff counselor or a pair of senior staff counselors. CITs are with campers at all times throughout the work week but are allotted 2 hours off each morning from CIT responsibilities.
Junior Support Staff
Junior Support Staff work in their designated area and serve the needs of camp. All Junior Support staff are required to participate in the Junior Staff Program each evening. The Junior Support Staff positions are:
Lifeguards
Lifeguards are responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the pool and overseeing all morning, afternoon, and evening swim times. This person must have up-to-date Lifeguard certification at the start of summer camp. Hours vary throughout the week but applicants should expect 8 hours of pool responsibilities each day. Kitchen Staff
The Kitchen Staff work under the direct supervision of the Food Service Director and are responsible for institutional cooking and total meal preparation. Food service experience is not required. Kitchen Staff generally work two of the three meals per day and work roughly 8 hours per day.
Maintenance Staff
The Maintenance Staff work under the direction of our full-time maintenance staff. This position includes operating small machinery such as lawnmowers, weed eaters, blowers, etc. Maintenance keeps up repairs on camp equipment. Work is generally outdoors and may require lifting up to 40lbs. Work hours during the work day are generally 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Barn Staff
The Barn Staff works under the direct supervision of the Horsemanship Director to take care of over 50 horses at Triple R Ranch. They are responsible for feeding, grooming, tacking, and daily barn chores. Barn staff may be assigned to teach horseback riding lessons, assist campers on trail rides, or teach small animal classes. Hours vary between assignments throughout the week. Barn staff should expect to work between the hours of 6:00am – 3:00pm.
