Working Together

We are closely following all guidelines delivered by the CDC to reduce the risk to everyone who comes on Triple R Ranch's property. As such, we weekly check for updated regulations to ensure we are on track with everything we are doing.

Before meals, all staff and children are required to wash their hands as well as use hand sanitizer before being allowed to get food. Further, throughout the day hand sanitized is employed to further protect from germs.

In the event that symptoms of sickness are noted, we have a complete isolation plan to ensure each child's germs remain their own.

Students must have a COVID-19 prescreen document on file before being allowed on campus each week to monitor if they have been around anyone who might be showing symptoms. Further, each morning each student will be screened for symptoms including a temperature check.

Each Day Care staffer has an up to date MAT (Medical Administration Training) certificate as well as CPR training.

Everything the children and staff use is cleaned daily to ensure that any germs that might be lurking at the end of the day will not affect students the following day.

Our staff are trained with a full COVID-19 plan to ensure that if any student is found to show symptoms, we can quickly seclude them until parents are able to come pick them up. Further, we're also here to help your students learn and will be available the entire time your students are here to assist with any questions they might have.

Our food service system has been revamped in accordance with governing regulations. On top of all our kitchen staff wearing masks and gloves the entire time they are on the job, we have also placed a glass barrier in between the kitchen workers and students.

We are so appreciative of every parent who would trust the safety and education of your children to us. This pandemic has affected us all in so many unexpected ways.

As another amazing season of summer camp comes to a close, we want to thank all the parents who trusted us with not only the spiritual growth of their children, but also the safety of them as well. We praise God that although we changed a lot of things to accommodate COVID-19, it was not able to stop down the spread of the gospel. With the Fall rapidly approaching, efforts have begun to transform Triple R Ranch into Base Camp Learning Center, a site where students can learn in a safe environment and then do some unique, exciting activities during the afternoon. If you would like to know information on how we will be safety accomplishing this goal or on the program in generel, visit our Base Camp Learning Center page by clicking HERE. Again, thank you to everyone who continues to support us during this challenging time. We appreciate all donations and prayers and will be updating you as things progress.

Camp has begun! And campers are loving our COVID safe program including two new activities: archery tag & mystery trail! Due to the regulations putting out by the Virginia government, we are currently unable to open the overnight portion of our program for sessions 3 through 5. However, we have implemented a new Evening Program addition to our normal Day Camp regime. Normally, Day campers would leave at 5:00pm each day, but now they can now purchase the Evening Program elective and stay a few hours longer (Monday through Thursday) until 8:00pm! That includes dinner plus some exceptional evening games. What are these activities you wonder? Build-Your-Own-Fort laser tag, Water Wars, cart racing (like Mario Kart), and a S'mores Dance Party Bonanza! Then, after this extra time, the kids are picked up at 8:00pm and head home for some nice rest before starting it all again the next day. We've been going strong for about two weeks now and we are overjoyed that the campers are not only embracing the changes we have made to our program, but also are loving being outdoors and with other kids! We are hoping that later in the summer, following the guidelines by the CDC, WHO, and other government officials, we might be able to open up our overnight summer camp program.

We at Triple R have been working since the onset of Coronavirus to prioritize the health and safety of the campers while providing a fun and enriching program. We are still working hard to determine what that looks like as Governor Northam has revealed steps to open the economy. There are leaks that the CDC will soon be releasing guidance for summer camps. Once these are released, we expect our local and state government to implement restrictions and standards on camp programs. Once we receive this information we will be able to announce what summer camp 2020 will look like. Based on the information we currently have started implementing program changes that include: limiting session capacity, increased cleaning and sanitization, pursuing more day camp options and sessions, and staggering activities to limit large groups. We also understand that as the summer continues we may enter different phases of reopening which allow us to operate more in line with the traditional program, but those adjustments will only be made with the advice of the health department and clearance form our governing officials. Please continue to check this page and email for updates regarding any changes to the program or your registration. Any updates to current registrations will be emailed.
